Privacy Policy

1. The Short Version
The Unc Test is a free entertainment quiz. Your quiz answers are processed entirely in your browser and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. We do not ask for and do not collect your name, email address, or any account information. The only data involved in running the Site is the anonymous, aggregate kind described below.
2. Quiz Answers & Scores
All scoring happens locally on your device with JavaScript. When you share a result, your score appears in the link you choose to share (for example theunctest.com/?score=14). That link contains only the number — no identity, no answers, and nothing is saved by us.
3. Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic: which pages are visited, approximate country, device type, and how visitors found the Site. This data is anonymous and reported to us only in aggregate. Google Analytics uses cookies; see “Cookies” below. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
4. Advertising (Google AdSense)
We display ads served by Google AdSense to keep the Site free. Google and its partners are third-party vendors that use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) or aboutads.info/choices. Where required (for example in the EEA/UK), a consent message will be shown before any advertising cookies are set.
5. Cookies
We set no cookies of our own. Cookies on this Site come only from the third-party services above (Google Analytics, Google AdSense) and, if you view it, the embedded TikTok player. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the quiz works fine without them.
6. Embedded TikTok Content
The page embeds one TikTok video via TikTok's official embed player. When the player loads, TikTok may collect usage data and set cookies under its own privacy policy (tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy). We do not control and do not receive that data.
7. Server Logs
Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may keep standard, short-lived server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not use these logs to identify visitors.
8. Children's Privacy
The Site is a general-audience entertainment site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we collect no personal information at all, there is nothing for a parent to request or delete — but if you have concerns, contact us.
9. Your Rights
Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. Because we do not collect or store personal data, these requests generally apply to the third parties above — Google (policies.google.com/privacy) and TikTok — and we will point you in the right direction if you ask.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the Site evolves (for example, if we add new features). The effective date at the top always reflects the latest version. Material changes will be visible on this page.
